Mother kills kids, hangs herself

FARIDABAD: A 28-year-old woman was found dead, along with her two tender-age daughters, on the first floor of a house in Sector-16 of Faridabad. Rinki was a resident of Sector-18 where she lived with her two daughters, Shivani (4) and Divya (2). Her husband, Pawan Kumar, is employed as an executive in an export firm in Ahemdabad and used to visit them over the weekends.
On Saturday evening, Rinki visited her cousin brother's house in Sector-16 to attend a family function.While the congregation was celebrating, Rinki disappeared, along with her daughters. Nobody noticed them leave. After sometime, her cousin, Ankur Singh, suddenly felt her absence and started looking for her. While searching for them, he went to a room on the first floor of the house and, to his horror, found Rinki hanging by her sari from the ceiling fan, while the two daughters were lying dead on the floor.
Rinki's relatives say she was of unsound mind and used to have epileptic fits. According to the police, the post-mortem reports have confirmed strangulation of the two kids and suicide by Rinki. However, no suicide note was recovered from the deceased. The family has kept mum before the media over the entire issue. The police is investigating to solve the mystery.
